Cormac McCarthy's The Road - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone else excited as I am to see this movie? I've just finished reading the book and IMO, McCarthy is up there with Hemingway--I love his style of writing, not to mention his neverending vocabulary.

Unfortunately, the movie keeps getting pushed back. Now I believe it's scheduled for a March release. (Can anyone find the official release date?) Too bad, cause that will probably hurt its chances at the Oscars in 2010.

Very interesting book. i look forward to how the movie turns out. Hopefully, they don't add more action and violence.

i actually have zero interest in this film. i liked the book so much i'd rather not see someone else's vision of it. once that's done, i lose mine practically for good. i probably won't see the blood meridian adaptation, either.

i haven't read this book, but i enjoyed no country for old men. but i guess he wrote that book much more differently than he did his others. i have a few books i need to get through before i pick up this one. i'm sure i'll see the movie when it finally comes out.
