Default problems with audio in Casino Royale

I am having problems with the audio with Casino Royale. It either does Dolby Prologic or 2.0 Dolby Digital when i switch between my sound settings on my reciever, pc, and software. I want it to output in 5.1 Dolby Digital. My other blu-ray movies correctly select 5.1 Dolby Digital. I am currently using PowerDVD 8 on my PC to play my movies. When the movie trailers play before the movie, it correctly outputs 5.1 Dolby Digital. It's just the actual movie that doesn't do this correctly.

ok i found out that on the collector's edition, there isn't a Dolby Digital 5.1 track, so the Dolby TrueHD is being downsampled to 2.0. To my knowledge it can also be downsampled to 5.1 Dolby Digital. If so, how do I go about to correct this?

What equipment are you using? Change your player from decoding the audio and sending it out via PCM to sending it out via bitstream. I'm guessing you have your audio being sent out via optical cable.

TrueHD is packaged with the DD 5.1 core track.

where can i change that? and yes i am using an optical cable. this is my blu-ray drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827136155

my sound card is built in and uses Realtek HD Audio Manager. i can't seem to find anything in that software to change it to bitstream nor in the PowerDVD settings.
