Casino royale deluxe packaging problems - Blu-ray Forum

I dont know how different the packaging is in the usa but im in the uk and bought the uk version ,did anyone else have trouble getting the booklet out from in the middle.The space where they stuck it was so tight with 2 other leaflets and still is after ive took those out.Its really stupid ive attached a photo if you push it in anymore you wouldnt get it out again or youd at least struggle for 5mins.

Yeah, it's a pain in the bum. If you actually push the areas on either side of the booklet down, it does make it slightly easier. Throw away the useless flyers as well. The booklet's nice though, isn't it?

Is Best Buy going to have a Steelbook version???

I got home with all my new steelbooks and was like "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw maaaaaaaaaaaaan...now they don't match up!!!"

No, Casino Royale is released by Sony, the other Bonds are distributed on video by MGM/Fox. Only pre-Daniel Craig films will be Steelbooks at Best Buy.

I struggled too with the booklet but my biggest annoyance is the bloomin' sticker plastered right on the front of the classy cover....WHY DO THEY DO IT????

Surely they could either forget the sticker altogether or use one that peels off easily, i don't understand why go to the trouble of designing a cover to then ruin it with stickers Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Don't you hate it when they make a re-release of a Bluray you already have ? makes you feel like the one you have is worthless or something when they could have released the better version the first time around.

what booklet. ?

Did get:

2 - discs
1 - paper explaining "please remember to update your firmware".

that is all.

But have notice that the dvd version of the same film comes in a 3 disc version in a nice box, why don't we BD owners get that. ???

Got my set today. It's beautiful, but yeah the booklet is a pain in the ass!

Hey! my copy didn't come in a nice little case like that. All I've got is a regular BD case with a slipsleeve, and from what I've seen, most copies around are already missing the sleeve.

What needs to be stated here is that the fancy box is the UK release. I was foolish to obviously get the US one, with a rather mundane blu-ray box and outer sleeve.

Why release differently? For fock sake lol

Yeah this is the UK version since the first post was about the UK version, I decided to post the pics here. There also was a sort of half sleeve over the package with UK ratings logos, but I didn't take pictures of that.

I love the case for my deluxe CR

I agree its a little fiddly to release the little booklet, but once read it you don't really need to get it out again very often

My Australian set is on the way. If it's a sh*t looking case, then I'll swap the discs out into the UK case that I pinched. Oops!
