Default tv not 1080p

My tv is 720p, will i be wasting my money on a blu-ray?

No, you can still tell a difference between a DVD and a Blu-Ray. My HDTV is only 720p and the difference is jaw dropping to say the least. Quick question. What size is your HDTV?

Hell no. It will still look better then standard dvd's. Not to mention it will look even better when you eventually upgrade.
