Question about Monster HDMI cables on the PS3 slim

I plan on replacing my current PS3 with a PS3 Slim.

I have a monster HDMI cable hookep up on my current PS3. I recently saw a couple of youtube videos. A PS3 slim owner is reviewing the system and he states that he had issues using Monster HDMI cables on the PS3 slim.

He is saying that the Monster HDMI is working on his older PS3, but wont work on the PS3 slim.

Does anyone here have a PS3 slim and a Monster HDMI cable to test this?

My guess is it is an isolated issue on the PS3 owner in the vid, but I want a confirmation before I buy a PS3 slim, and hopefully you guys will be able to help out.
