Hi there.
I'm a game designer living in Vancouver and there's a potential position for me in the UK. I know my old CRT TV won't work overthere (it's trash anyway), but I'm curious about my new gear (less than a year old in some cases) 42 inch plasma screen. PS3 50+ Blu-Ray movies plus 100+ standard DVD's HD Cable Box (for HD channels) Is that going to need to be replaced over there? I thought I read someplace that Blu-Ray had no concept of regions.. don't know if that's correct. thanks BTW, wasn't sure if this is where this question went but 'home theatre' seemed the closest section. Please move it if there's a better place. |

Ohhh, yes there is a concept of Regions, and England is Region B, North America is Region A - all your old Blus will work, but anything you buy there will not unless you buy a new player there too.
Unsure about the electrical aspect of your other equipment, the whole NTSC/PAL thing, the whole 25Hz / 60 Hz... |
