Cant we all just get along :) and agree on something? - Blu-ray Forum

I would love to see an honest poll where we could find a movie that everyone actually likes.

Or on the flip side, that everyone dislikes.

Do these movies even exist...I wonder if the people that just list flicks because they came from a competing studio that they work for would be left out of it. (just an example). Or if you didn’t like a flick because you were having trouble in your life or something reflected on you personally.

Think it could happen?
removing the prejudices
What about The Incredibles (older people without children don’t comment)
or Iron Man (people that don’t like Marvel or comic books or super hero movies in general, don’t comment)
or Scarface? (people who are against anything to do with drugs what so ever shouldn’t comment)

the previous were just examples and don’t really need to have comments but would people even be honest...I see some people here listing movies and you know they are full of it. Probably have never even seen the movies they list in some cases. There are some Happening people who just list that flick because they HATE M. Night. Not because the movie sucks but sheer hatred of the creator... Maybe that isn't the best choice but you all get the idea.

What are your thoughts?

There will NEVER be a movie that everyone will agree on.

Taste is subjective. What one person enjoys someone else won't.

Re: The Happening. I like M. Night's movies. And that movie was utterly craptastic.

I disagre its not pointless. He has a valid and interisting point. What I find funny is that he sort of already answered his own question by means of the examples. Of course you won't finsd a movie that either everyone hates or likes. If that were the case then this world would be an un-developed country and world. No 2 people are exactly alike so there for no movie is goingt o have eveyone like it or dislike it.

Movies are made to attacked certain crowds. Just like stores have sales on different items to attracked certain customers. Its like supply and demand.

A large number of people here are movie lovers, and what makes EVERY movie good? Conflict. There must be some in a movie, or you get no plot. Well, it seems we like conflict here on the forums too. Just MHO.

Well it is pointless. If I started a thread asking wether you think Im gonna live forever then that would be pointless because I know the answer before hand and so does everyone else so there is no reason to ask.

in life everything we do is a difference of opinion ex: work, sport, sex, food. movie are the same way. what is wonderful is that we can have great debate on all kind of movie and have fun doing it because if everybody we,re thinking and doing thing the same way life would be unberable. so stop hoping for a consensus of opinion, enjoy your life and your movie et vive la difference.
