Just how did HDDVD and BR agree on this? - Blu-ray Forum

Movie box... yes one is blue and the other red, but they are the same size/design.

I always wondered... where did the plastic box design come from?

I like useless facts.

Yeah... the spent the time to agree on a common packaging design but not on a common format.

(which would be Blu-ray of course

The 5 free promotion pdf. for each format is almost identical aside from the address and the movie titles.
