Default Wreck's Apartment Setup

So yeah, Im just getting started into home theater. The polk audio r50s are great starters, cause they let you know they are better then HTIB packages (most) but leave you wanting MORE!

So I plan to get some new fronts and move those the back and then eventually replace the r50s... slowly upgrading, ya feel me.

Just got the Polk Audio CS2 TODAY ... says its at my door ...

And uhm yeah, the rest is in the pics and the descriptions ...

leave some comments.

I have a suggestion for your speakers there...Move your TV over to the left a bit, spread the speakers out from each other around 6-8 feet apart, toe them in toward your seating position, and keep them away from the wall if you can preferably 2 or 3 feet. That should significantly improve your audio. Where is your sub placed by the way? Do you have a picture that shows your surrounds relative to your seating? I like the TV there too.

Unfortunately, there is a door 2-3 feet away from that left speaker ... So I acutally cant move the set up over

My sub is pretty much in the wrong spot LOL ... that pic was taken kinda angled from behind the couch ... the sub is to the right ... kinda like where you would put a right surround speaker in a 7.1 set up ...

I could possibly find room to put my sub in between the tv and right front ... Should I ?

Maybe some mini posters or signs on the walls might make it look more like a HT? But if that is not your type of thing then don't mind me, lol

Looks great dude, I just started getting into Home Theater as well and I have the exact same sound setup as you. It's an awesome budget setup and it works great for my bedroom. Looks like we have similar upgrade plans too lol, I already have the upgrade itch! When I move in the next few months I'll be getting some monitor 70's up front and I'll move the R50's to my rears, and I'm getting an Onkyo TS-XR606 and an eD A2-300 sub.

Anyways, place looks awesome. Btw where did you get that rack?

How much did that serup cost you, OP? A budget system would be perfect for me (currently running some 2.1 PC speakers to my TV's headphone jack right now, shameful!)
