A good center channel is one that has enough output and bass response to keep all dialog in the center and not shifting over to the sub. It's also one that matches your existing fronts for timbre (or matches the ones you'll be buying as the case may be).

What do you have for fronts right now? I wouldn't just buy any old center without planning ahead for timbre-matching.

For your current set-up you need this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-SS-CN5000...1180426&sr=8-5

For your future klipsch set-up you need this one:

http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/vc-25.aspx

It is very important to match you front three!

well you still want good rears. they do not have to be beats thoigh, all they do is play ambient noises and sounds. the sony 1000 or 3000 series bookshelf speakers would compliment you existing setup nicely. the 1000 are like $50 a pair and the 3000 are $99 a pair!

You do not need to worry about timbre matching the rears to your fronts though, you could get a different brand all together if you wanted and you would still be alright

I would make the decision on whether or not you're going to upgrade to the Klipsch setup before buying a center. If so, get a Klipsch center from the same line. If not, get the Sony.
