Default Would this be a good set-up for a small room?

I would be hooking this up to a Samsung LN40A650 and 60gb PS3.

I have a pretty small room, but I want to get a 7.1 surround sound system.

Receiver:
Onkyo TX-SR606 7.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver

Speakers:
Polk Audio SurroundBar Speaker System - Single Speaker

Any input is greatly appreciated due to the fact I just began researching audio systems.

I would give you one piece of advice friend - don't use soundbars. Get a decent front three instead. From Polk, if you so wish. But soundbars, whether from Yamaha or Polk - just not solid investments.

+1
Get a solid 3.0 set-up for starters or even 2.0 if money is an issue

Money isn't an issue. I just dont want the whole house rattling every time i watch a movie, so I want 7.1 and a speaker system that will be nice for my size room.

Buy bookshelf speakers like the Sony B3000's or Polk Monitor 40's and the matching center channel. If you want to can throw some small insignia or polk rm6751's as surrounds and then you will have good sound, but it won't be large and "house rattling." Or get the polk RM6750's, they are small but def. wont rattle your house.

Your space is about as big as my living room, but I love the house rattling... if it doesn't I turn it up.
