Default DMP 35 - Edge Blurring Problem

Hi, Firstly I am brand new to this site and so would like to say HELLO and a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all. Secondly I am brand new to Blu-ray so please excuse my lack of understanding on the subject. Last week I purchased a Panasonic DMP BD35 Player and TX-32LZD800A LCD to partner it with. Thus far I have been slightly underwelmed with the set up especially when playing Blu-Ray discs. Their is a problem that seems to occure when I set the output from the player to 24p. From time to time their is a slight bluring which occures normally around the edges of moving objects (such as people). I have made sure that the 24P setting on the LCD is set to on and I and using a high quality HDMI Monster Cable compatible with 1090P but this has no effect in solving the problem. I have found that by switching the 24P Output off it solves the blurring, but obviously I would like to be able to watch movies with this funtion activated if possible. Any tips on this or any other set up advice you may have would really be appreciated.
