what are you doing for NYE - Blu-ray Forum

Happy new year to everybody here on the forum. It has been a good year( 07 sucked badly) and 09 is going to be great. My wife just found out she is pregnant and I plan on making a few lifestyle changes. No smoking and a few other bad habits are going to be gone.

With that said, what is everybody planning on doing tonight( as i am typeying this I just realized it is already 09 in some parts o the world.).
We are going to Vegas but we can not "party" like we wanted to since my wife is pregnant but that does not mean we will not have fun. Just means more to gamble with plus our anniversary is on the first. This will be the first sobber trip to vegas but there are so many other things to do.

post any resulutions you plan on TRULY committing to.

Same thing I do everyday, waste away this precious bio-chemical phenomenon known as life that I got by treating this day as I do any other. But by all means feel free (all of you) to party like there was no tomorrow because, sadly there is one and it is due, well ... tomorrow !

same thing i do every year. get together with friends, drink some (aka a lot of) champagne, watch a kick ass movie (last year it was casino). its not a massive party, but its been a tradition for years and it works for us

Some loft party in Old port. I know about 10 people there. 150+ other people i have no idea

2008 sucked for me. glad to be turning the page to 09.

If I go out I'll be the crazy guy talking to himself plus it is damn cold out there so I think I'll stay home. But you have a happy new year and I'm sure we'll have lots of nice forum threads in 2009

well, it's also my b-day today...26...wooo!!!

we have my buddies, their wives, and their kids come over and we drink a little (i drink a lot) and have cake & ice cream.

all of our kids are under 3 so we don't go to the bars as much anymore.

I hope to be staying home.

Maybe I'll be asleep by 9, I'm pretty tired today. I don't usually stay up till 11 no matter what the occasion.

I don't drink so there's none of that going to happen.

I may take my family to a torch parade down the ski slopes at 8pm,... But I would rather stay home (the roads are icy here.)

My New Years Resoultion is to only surf for a maximum of 30 mins per day. I believe I can commit to it.

Good Luck to the OP on the smoking... it's a great idea to quit if you're going to have kids.

I know, I already have a 9 year old and a 4 year old. Both boys. I hope this is my girl or else we will try again in a year or two. I love kids,they are so fun. Yes they can be a pain in the ass too.

congrats!!! u're lucky, my wife has it in her head that our kids need to be close in age. i've got a 2 year old (3 in feb.) and a 7 month old. she wants a 3rd when the baby is 2.

they tend to be a handful when they are so young and so close. if one isn't causing trouble, the other is screaming.

they are fun though, yes.

To the TS, congrats on the upcoming birth of you baby. It's a wonderful experience. My 2nd born turned one yesterday while my first born turns 6 next week.
