hi every body!
look...
i hava a ps3 and i wanna know if ii reads dvd?
i can put a dvd in my ps3 with no problems?

yes, it will read dvd's and will up convert them as well

You guys forgot to tell him it only upconverts using HDMI not RCA, the OP never stated how he hooked it up. Refresh my memory but I don't think it upconverts using component video unless it was part of a firmware upgrade? I know when I used component video first then upgraded to HDMI is when I noticed the improvement to DVD's.

That's right, no upconverting doesn't work with component hookup. You'll need to use HDMI.
