Default phenomonal picture quality

So I posted a thread a while ago, https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=66651 concerning the jaw-dropping picture quality I saw in a circuit city. It was The Dark Knight, so I and everyone attributed it to the IMAX filming...which is amazing btw. I'm pretty sure it was on a Samsung 1080P 120Hz set.

Fast forward a couple months and I'm walking through circuit city and in the same spot is a Mitsubishi 1080p, 120Hz, 24p TV. This time its the incredible hulk playing and again it looks absolutely stunning. I will say again I have seen my fair share of HD tvs, both plasma and LCD with the newest technology. But again the quality of this picture was literally jaw dropping! It was so good it almost looked fake! Like instead of a TV it was holograms or something. One thing that stood out though was a noticeable studder or skipping. Is this the 24p making it look so good and also causing the skipping?

This TV is not connected with all the other and runs off its own dedicated blu-ray feed. Why is the TV in this spot so amazing? Is it the 24p or is this the first professionally calibrated TV I have seen and it makes that much of a difference??
