Default Best paint to use for the screen wall?

I'd like to paint my screen wall a "dark color to increase the perceived contrast". I got the idea from "Downhere's" room. He suggest chocolate brown Glidden eggshell paint.

What other paints would do?

I would skip on the eggshell finish. My whole room is eggshell except for the screen wall. I ended up going 2 tones darker with a flat finish for the screen wall and it is a lot better. Eggshell still has some sheen to it and will reflect some light but not much. Flat is the way to go in my opinion

A friend of mine put up black curtains in his theatre room wall I thought it looked awsome. The t.v. is not mounted to the wall he has one of those t.v. stands that has the mount on it so there is no gap in between where the t.v. would be. I will probably do the same thing that way I dont have to spend a lot of money on the paint and equipment. Less time consuming hanging the curtains also.

Unfortunately, the best wall color for perceived color accuracy on the screen is gray, though I have seen very few gray walls in practice.
