Default My Bloody Valentine 3D currently at 100% on the Rotten Tomato Meter

It's only 5 votes, but still. Hope it will be good.

It's very rare for a horror film to even start at 100%. I don't think it will get that low.

I agree! The five reviews that are counted are from hardcore horror sites . Once the mainstream critics have a go....it will drop to around 30%.

If the movie doesn't try to act like something its not and get too smart for its own good, then it has the potential to be good. It's gotten some pretty good remarks from non horror fanatics.

yeah but they are 2 bloggers, and I dont go with bloggers, when I do RT I only do top critics.

Which is usually the same as the overall score

The movie could be very good, and I might even like it a lot. I am not in anyway predicting that the movie is poor. However, most critics love to trash horror flicks...they also love to trash hardcore action movies.

But I am stoked to see a 3D horror film, even if I do end up hating it.

Which is why it's impressive that a horror film started off at 100%. Normally they start off poor and end poor.

That's a good start for a horror film.

Ya know I have had the original sitting on my dvd shelf for about 7 months. It just stares at me blankly. I have heard from enough people to check it out and it was supposedly one of the more mean spirited of the slasher films ala The Prowler but it's just not something I'm that interested in, which is a problem because I love horror films.

Remaking a film I'm not even that interested in and I'm sure most people don't realize this is a remake doesn't really get me in the theater. I know it has the novelty of being a 3-D horror film but it just doesn't seem that interesting, and when the highlight of the trailer is a guy throwing a pic axe 40 feet through the air only to land it directly into a womans head through a windshield..... uggh. If that and boobs is all there is to look forward to, I think I will just stay home, maybe dust off the original and give it a try....

Too bad you can't invent a time machine and go back to the 70's when every other XXX film was in 3-D. It probably would have blown your mind....
