I need another PS3 for the living room cause i'll be moving my samsung TV in there along with my current audio system. and $300 is the perfect price.

Want a 2nd system so the kids can stream video to the bedroom TV... I have all their season tv / cartoons on the media center computer plus they can watch blu rays as well from the bedroom while I watch something on the main tv.

After pre-ordering 2 of the PS3 slims, it made me realize I have a Blu-Addiction, lol. But hey, now my son can watch his favorite blus in his room on his own player!

That sucks. A friend of mine had his fail too. But it is rather uncommon at least compared to a certain other device.

A recent sampling of 5,000 people, being discussed in the off topic section, puts the failure rate at 10.6%. I would guess that includes all of the types of failures we have seen including the YLoD and failure to read BD's while still reading other types of discs. Mine failed too.

What's the main difference between a regular PS3 and slim PS3?
(Other than the fact that it's smaller)

I'm pretty sure I'll just keep what I have now regardless.
Seems pointless to buy something I already have and works perfectly fine
