Default What resolution is your display?

With all the debate lately about 720p vs. 1080p, and the heated discussions it causes, I thought it would be interesting to see what resolution everyone actually has. I'm not giving the option for non-hd sets since no one has those anymore anyway .

Only vote for your native screen resolution. Even though your 720p set can accept 1080p, it isn't really 1080p. Also 720p includes ALL varieties (768p etc.) for the sake of making this easier to see the results. For those of you with the obscure 1080i native resolutions I gave you that option even though you're considered outcasts in the community

If your lucky enough to have more than 1 television, please vote for the one that you utilize the most for blu-ray watching. In other words your "main" TV.

Feel free to post your thoughts about screen resolutions, but let's please be kind to one another and respect everyone's opinions.

I don't see 768P there.

I have multiple displays, one 1080P, one 720P, one 768P, and one 1920x1200 computer monitor. Which should I choose?

My set can display both 720p and 1080i, but it's always set to 1080i as this appears to be the better picture.

My display has no native resolution. It is capable of displaying all resolutions from 480p to 1440p using my current display's CRT's. My next upgrade will include some of the finest CRT tubes and lenses currently made. This will bump up the potential resolution to 2160p. The upgrade is very expensive, and I have no intention on doing it until their is programming to support the upgrade.

1080p is where its at. I have an UNTRAINED eye and I can tell the difference, so I know others can as well.

My God,
When are you going to ask me over for dinner.
Your system blows me away.
How many times have you blown a fuse

1080p from day one of my HDTV start back on June/10/2006 with a westinghouse 42" LCD 1080p LVM-42W2 for $1,499.99 had 2 DVI's and 1 HDMI inputs. from best buy had a probloms with it. had to use my performance service plan.

so for the 2nd one I tryed a westinghouse 47" LCD 1080p LVM-47W1 on January/12/2007 for $1,899.99 had probloms with that one to. so back to best buy. but waited for the right HDTV and the right price.

no more westinghouse. now on my 3rd 1080p HDTV. got it on June/27/2008 but now its a samsung 46" LCD LN46A650 for $1,869.98 with 1080p, optical digital audio output, 50,000:1 contrast, 120Hz, 4-HDMI's, PC input, 4-millisecond response time, PIP, Ethernet port, and USB 2.0, and I love it
