Default How to display the resolution on the PS3?

I know there was a way and I was messing around with the option buttons the PS3 has and couldn't find it. Googled it with no luck, so I thought I would go to the people who know. How can you display what the PS3 is playing at when watching a movie?

I thought that was dependent on the set's ability to display the resolution of the image that's passed to it.
