Default If you could bring back one OOP release, what would you choose?

Some of us here got into the collecting game a little late. Some of us missed out on titles where the news of their release fell through the cracks. Some of us just didn’t have the money at the time. But if you could bring back one release from the depths of the OOP pit, which would you choose?

Store exclusives also count if you’d like.

Cheating a bit, but the Walt Disney Treasures DVD series. I don't think we'll ever see Disney put so much thought and care into their historical properties again.

Can y'all imagine how wonderful these sets could be with high definition blu-ray releases? Especially the cartoons? *sigh* It'll never happen now that Disney+ exists to dump things on...

I grabbed most of them, but I still missed out on a few of the later releases that now go for hundreds of dollars each on eBay.

A few OOP adult Blu-rays have eluded me, including Wasteland, This Ain't Avatar 1 & 2 XXX 3D, and This Ain't Jaws XXX 3D.

I scoffed at this release at the time (thinking I was fine with what I had on the HALLOWEEN front), but I def. regret it now.

SEXY BEAST Twilight Time's release.

A screw up on my part while it was a) on sale, and b) with only a handful of copies left led me to missing out. And yes, I know there are foreign discs, but I don't import a ton.

As an avid horror fan, I feel like I should've bought it for completion sake. Some regret, but I'm content with owning just the first six.

I'm kicking myself for not getting Death Hunt when I had the chance.

Sorry you couln't grab one. I have it and it's the only release to present the film at 2.39:1. The UK and German releases only feature the 1.78:1 TV framing. Also, the UK is interlaced.

I think Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill would probably sell like crazy if they did another run. I'm glad I have my copy.

Arrow's Re-Animator Limited Edition. One of these days I'm gonna break down and pick it up for way too much money and then cross my fingers that it's in good condition.

Same here. I didn't think I needed the set at the time (ironically, the way I'm feeling about the Friday the 13th set now) but now I wish I would have bought it.

That's the title that finally got me to switch over to blu-ray & the first title I ever bought. My oop title is silly, but any oop Steelbook editions of John Carpenters The Thing. My favorite movie.
