Default Dragon's Lair date confusion??

So I'm a bit confused here...yesterday Dragon's Lair was listed for release 4/09(yesterday's date). Now today it's listed for 4/17? Any news or updates on this? Also I have'nt been able to find it at any retailer nearby. Of course the only two places that sell BD is Best Buy and Circuit City. Occasionally Sam's Club carries them. Any way I just hijacked my own thread. Any news on the actual release for this BD?

Usually, BDs are sold at chain stores such as Target, MovieStop, some Wal-Marts, Fry's Electronics, Tweeter/Hi-Fi Buys (only a few titles), and EB/GameStop (only have a few titles) besides the places you mentioned. If you don't have these places near you, there is always the internet.

It appears that Dragon's Lair will hit most places on the 17th.

I was going to pick this one up today, but found out I could get it 'til the 17th. I still have to pick up my titles for this week. I'll pick them up after traffic calms down.

Well no offense but that was'nt really the point of my post-but none of those places actually sell blu ray in store. Believe me I love to shop Target. But Best Buy and Circtuit City seem to be the only ones carrying BD. As far as the net, sorry I'm not that patient. When I buy something I take it home and watch it. Unless I absolutely can't find something in-store, then I'll get on the net for it.

So no one really knows why this was'nt actually released mon?

It was probably delayed, my god! It's not like it hasnt happened to about a dozen other supposed BD releases ::cough:: Warner Brothers ::cough::.

Just be a good boy and wait. Dragon's Lair sucks anyway!

any have bought the game yet?

this is taken from Amzon..

I ordered this a couple of weeks ago straight from Digital Leisure (although I paid double). Anyways today, I received it in the mail and proceeded immediately to play it. It was not shrink wrapped or anything but it was in tact. I am an old school gamer and grew up with a lot of these Laser Disc games, a lot of unknowns at that, some anime looking ones if I remember correctly. ANYWAYS...

As for the game: This is a huge step up from the DVD version. It transitions very smoothly and looks mighty beautiful on my Sony KDL-40V2500, at 1080p, it dam right awesome and with all the good nostalgic feelings coming back.

BUT - this game is extremely buggy.

If you remember how this game is suppose to play, there are movement guides so you know what button to press. This function does not work correctly... Dirk's sword is suppose to glow when you have to use it and I have yet to see it happen. Although in some scenes you are guided, it is very inconsistent and the occasional beep that is suppose to accompany it does not alway happen either. Because of this, it is not much fun to play like I remember. This bug pretty much ruins the game play, and all you can do it do a lot of guess work. Oh and yes there is a function to turn on the movement guides, but yeah... it does not work. -_-

I really don't know what the problem is... more than likely... well maybe it's the PS3. The developers probably tested this game on a standalone blu-ray player.

What I wanna know is... has any-1 received this game like me and had the same problems?

Review???

I bought the game from amazon. Im still waiting for it to arrive. I preordered it and when the shipping date finally arrived, I was told that it wont be around for 1-3 weeks. I was kinda dissapointed with that. I probably wont recieve it until early May at the earliest.
