Hey guys and gals, I am in the market for a new desktop and I not sure weather to stick with a PC or get an I-Mac.I would like to get some info on the 20in I-Mac or if anyone know of some sites that I can get some in dept information(here included) and reviews beside the Apple website.

As xtop mentioned, if your main concern is losing out on Windows, there are multiple ways to run Windows programs on a Mac (Boot Camp, Parallels, CrossOver, etc., etc.). I recently upgraded to iWork '09 (Mac's version of Office) and feel that it's gaining a lot of ground on MS. Numbers is much crappier than Excel, but I think Pages is almost on par with Word, and Keynote > PowerPoint. And since it's simple to export into MS Office file formats (or set it up to do that by default), you don't have to worry about carrying your files to PCs. |
