Default Please Help!!!! Regarding 7.1 audio
If I use 7.1 Lossless audio, but My PS3 is connected using 5.1 digital connected via Digital Optical to my receiver. The sound changes. It's reads as a different single according to the receiver, but it's not 5.1 anymore nor 7.1. I believe it becomes 2 channel audio source just not sure. Can anyone help explain it to me.

P.S. May receiver does not support 7.1 I just wanted to see if I can get better sound.
