When a young orca whale, Willy, is trapped by a storm in Gus’s run down water theme park, Kirra slowly but surely finds herself adapting to the new surroundings and an ever-growing friend. But, when Gus’s latest attraction starts eating too much, he is tempted to sell Willy to an unscrupulous competitor. The race is on for Kirra and her friends to find Willy’s family and return him to the ocean…

I concur!!! What the heck are they thinking.... the only thing scarier is what movie trilogy will they add to next (or what will they make into a trilogy)

Yeah, fourth films in a series haven't been doing too good, Episode 1, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Rocky 4 was good but 5 was terrible.

I can see it now, Godfather 4 with Pacino as Michael Corleone in a powerchair with a pet cat.

No, they'll probably try to reboot the series with a "Next Karate Kid" girl as the new protagonist in THAT one too...

At one point, they actually did plan to do a fourth. It was supposed to be about Vincent Corleone's rise to power as the new Don. Coppola abandoned the idea when Mario Puzo died.

As for Free Willy 4, well, it's obviously for kids. So whatever. I'm pretty sure I've only ever seen the first one.

Ummm, my son has never seen any of these movies. He will love the first one. See your thread was very usefull after all, it refreshed my mind.
