I thought I would share a work of fiction with everyone, written by me...

This story is a SciFi / Fantasy and is Work Safe Story.

Captain Manson has accepted the conclusionary truth of the events that lead him to this path...
Using his ship to protect the flagship, his own battle cruiser has been massively damaged and been caught into a planets gravitational field, the name of the planet escapes him as he passes on the order. "ALL HANDS ABANDON SHIP" "ALL HANDS ABANDON SHIP" "HEAD PLANETSIDE" "HEAD PLANETSIDE".

The Captain takes the healm and steadies the ship, the 2nd in command looks at him, and says nothing.. "thank you.. sir", as he runs off... (Captain Mansons ship has enough escape pods for everyone but 1, and the good captain has decided that he would be the one.. if only someone had fixed the broken escape pod... but the captain never had it on the top of the repair priorities...

Escape pods launched the sensors reporting but one crew member left and that was Captain Manson.. as the battle cruiser starts to flame up as it enters the planets atmosphere the captain wonders what will happen to his family his children.. then thoughts of what he could have done to prevent this...

Then all of a sudden a cloaked figure enters the bridge.. what you thought about dieing alone good captain? Never hero never... laughs Captain Manson..

The cloaked figure is carrying a bottle of champagne and two glasses care for a cup captain... I would not refuse giving the condition of events..

The captain takes a sip of the campagne.. "what kind is this ive never tasted it before", "maz'ike berry or berry of the hunter..you know this is a special occasion..." "oh what is that?""Today you get to cheat death... my good captain."

"Ridiculous there are no more escape pods..." "Sure there is, follow me"Captain Manson looks out at the command screen and it appears that everything is frozen the ship no longer falling the fires almost static, and the heat cooling.. what is going on...

Captain Manson follows hero to the escape pod. "Just as I thought you all you need to do is recalibrate the cpu and recuffle the stratus key." "Just.. that would take hours..." "We got plenty of time go grab that spanner wrench...""There is no.... how the hell did that get here..." "Long story..." "You know for a figure of my imagination your very resourceful." "Well thanks.. I think" they start to work on the escape pod...

2 hours pass by quickly the repairs to the escape pod are complete.

Well lets give it a sys check,Hero activates the computer on the escape pod and runs the sys check application. The computer whirls back...
"All Systems Green", HOLY... "I guess you were right..." , "Well its time for you to go Captain Manson.. go join up with your crew mates this is there landing coordinates, and here are the necessary shield configurations to get you out of the earth orbit."

"Oh and captain enjoy your new lease on life, don't let your kids down now haha..." "What about you" "All be fine I have another way off this flaming boat, Good bye Captain Hope to see you again."

The Captain launches his escape pod and silently says.. Thank you friend...

Nothing happens.. the escape pod goes no where.. the captain became worried on what could have gone wrong and before he could hit the computer the escape pod jetting out.. and then slowly for surely the ship starting to restart falling into the atmosphere.. at the shock and aye of the captain.. captain jumps in the shield configurations and starts plotting his course....

Several moments later...

Captain sets down next to a large party of his crew members.. at the shock of his own men he steps out of his escape pod and with a smirk says "Captain on the deck"
