Default Does anyone else love the Three Amigos?

I absolutley love this movie. Classic Chase, Martin & Short. It will probably never see a BD release so I'll have to enjoy it on SDVD. They put Blazing Saddles on BD....

This movie deserves a Blu release. More than likely we will see one over the next year or so.

That movie's a classic.

"You see that plane? Yeah.... It's a 'mail' plane. How can you tell? Didn't you see it's little balls?" - something like that

I'm finishing this up right now on MGM HD and the 1080i picture is pretty dang good. Its not completely flawless but it totally blows the DVD out of the water.

Too bad HBO has the rights to this on home video since they seem to be releasing only ONE Blu-ray show or movie a year. We got Band of Brothers in 2008 so hopefully they change to two releases in 2009.

I just saw it on MGM HD. It looked about as good as you'd expect. Not nearly among the best Blu's but much improved over the standard dvd. My family and I can watch it over and over again. It's one of those rare movies that never gets old.

I love this movie too. Very underrated comedy. Two favorite lines for me:

1. Dusty Bottoms (Chevy Chase) talking to the pretty Mexican girl and she asks him if he would like to kiss her down by the veranda and he responds with "no, the lips would be fine".
2. When El Guapo asks Jefe if he knows what plethora means. "No, El Guapo I am not as smart as you".

These lines are not exact as I cannot recall exact dialogue to each movie I have ever seen............

Curious if a Blu-Ray version of this film would be worth buying???

Caught the tale end of it too! Thats what prompted this thread It's not a perfect movie but the re-watchability for me is high so for me it's a movie that I'd purchase. So many gag lines.......

It's a complete waste of time except for the Singing Bush, which is worth the price of admission.

My sons have all the dialogue memorized.

Not a bad flick. I didn't "fall in love" with it though.
