Default Spider: New here not new to Blu/HD question

Hello together,

Yeah I'm new here but not so new to blu ray and/or home theater.
I always was a silened reader here for the BD reviews. Thanks for them...

I do have a question: Since I upgraded my TV to full HD 1080p[see sig] i thought it's time for HD broadcast [Comcast HD].
The PQ is okay for 1080i but on some fast moving pictures i can see on close up objects/persones a leading white line around the edges. What can that be? And better how can i get away. Same effect on some 1080i BD material. All my gear is hooked up via HDMI 1.3 pass through my reciever.
I would like to force a 720p pulldown on 1080i material and i know the Onkyo605 is able to do that but i can't find the link how to set this. Any ideas?

/Spider
