Sorry if this is the wrong section please move it if need be. I'm still a bit of a Blu newbie and I'm wondering, do I need to buy a flash drive in order to upgrade filmware or can I just have an ethernet cable and tell the file to save to my player rather than my computer hard drive?

I believe some players can update by flash, but I'm not sure which these are.
Most players can be updated in two ways. They could be connected to a network via an ethernet cord and update over this connection, or they can be updated by a firmware cd which can be downloaded off the companies website and burned as an image onto a cd or can be requested from the manufacturer who will send a cd copy in the mail. |
