I'll be picking up Passion. I thought the Dtheater of Passion of The Christ 1080i picture was great. And now to watch it in 1080p will be great.

Well, I'm not. Fox don't have distribution rights for TPOTC worldwide (in the UK for example, its via ICON (who I believe are distributed by Warner Bros). So obviously, region free in this case means more US sales and more money for FOX, rather than locking them out for later local Fox division sales.

Which is odd, because we were told one of the reasons for continued region encoding was to protect international licencees.
