Default Question re: Wall-E for kids

I was going to take this movie over to my sister's tomorrow and watch it with her daughter/my niece, who is 3.5 yrs old. Question for anyone that has seen this movie: is that a bad idea? Is there anything that could really scare her in it (I have yet to watch it)?

No, fine for that age.

no, she might get bored in the beginning but I wouldn't expect it. I thnk Wall-E is visually engaging enough even without the audio in the early portions that a kid would like or even love it.

yeh, i heard the beginning is kind of slow. but if its on the TV she'll be mesmerized by it regardless of what it is. i dont have many other movies that both my sister and i could watch with her, wall-e's pretty much my only option

Maybe I'm a puss, but I almost cried during the beginning. He's just so lonely! Some one get me a tissue...QUICK!

Yeah, the beginning is actually pretty eerie if you think about it.

She will love it, my theater was filled with kids that age and they were jumping around the whole time...even during the first 45 minutes which I found to be the best bit of the film.

The first half is definetly the best. The second isn't bad either.

My 3.5 year old son loves this movie. He has no problem watching it. However, I have heard more than one person say their kids were bored when watching it, even walking away. Guess it just depends on the taste for movies the child has, but it is totally benign and safe for young children to watch.

I actually found that The Incredibles is rather more NOT a childrens' movie than it may seem. Rather dark at times. I still have not shown it to my son.
