Default Question about wall mounted speakers

I'll make this quick. I wanted to mount some ceiling speakers in my garage but the top is not closed, meaning I have plywood on the sky but on top of the plywood, it is not sealed, will this caus ethe speakers to sound bad> Do they need to be boxed, covered in the rear to sound good? thanks

I would build some boxes for them and add a little polyfill. The manual should say the recommend box volume for the speakers.

What speakers did you get?
