The Jean-Jacques Annaud has been released in France. I don't know about the quality of the disc but Aventi has pretty bad reputation here in France. It seems to be a 25 Go Disc.

The disc includes a Annaud interview (in French) and a Making of (different from the one on the Fox Region 1 DVD)

This has always been one of my favorite movies. I'd love to replace my dvd with this, is this Region B or Region Free?

Jean-Jacques Anneaud usually invests himself in the production of DVDs, so I hope the quality is good. However I've no idea about the region - lock.

This title is relased by French distributor Aventi, and they have a dreadful past on DVD with cheap discs designed for supermarkets. I will not take the risk on this one. That's a shame, the title used to be handled by TF1 Video in France.
