was about to order my surge protector from amazon when i nnoticed this one in the hot deals forums this apc http://store.audioholics.com/product...ioner---silver is there a major diffrence or not really please be honest i want to order tonight so please help

If it is between those two, I would choose the APC hands down. The Monster one just looks like a power strip on steroids. Definitely go with APC or Panamax.

I just bought my first lcd and plan on buying reciever and powered sub and all that good stuff.I was about to buy this monster surge protector for 120.00 when i seen the apc h10 129.00 shipped ,But heres my question i have no outlets close to Tv so i have to use a 12 gauge extension cord will the extension cord be fine with this product or dont even bother trying with this product http://store.audioholics.com/product...ioner---silver 2nd anybody know if apc is any good? Thanks for your help.I know i posted this question in the hot deals but i dont seem to get an answer except from Slec

sorry bro, didn't mean to tear you down or anything...

i haven't gotten one yet, but apc is supposed to be very good. as far as using an extension cord, you shouldnt have a problem since the fuse will blow in the event of a power surge if its plugged directly into the wall or not. anyone correct me if im wrong.

No problem^^^^^^ yea i was about to buy that monster when i seen this deal i was wow that looks sick but my only problem im having before i order. Is that clicking sound it makes and the extension cord being a problem
