Hey all, I just bought a Sony BDP-S350 Blu-Ray player and really only have one question.
When I go to buy a Blu-Ray movie is there anywhere on the case that states that the film was shot in 1080p HD? I like alot of old films but it drives me nuts to see some of these older films being put out on Blu-Ray discs when I know they weren't shot in HD. Now I know some of you will say that the old 35mm resolution was much greater than Blu-Rays anway and when they scale it down to put on a Blu-Ray disc it looks great but I would still like to only buy movies that were filmed in HD or buy movies that I know I will be viewing them in full 1080p. Any advice anyone has will be appreciated. |
