Looking to upgrade seeking advice

Ok so I have had the same speaker set up for about 10 years now, and i think its time to upgrade speakers. Currently i have Sony ss-mb215 for my fronts. The rest are Pioners from a home theater in a box setup. The Sub is a sony sa-w2500 and I just recently purchased an Onkyo sr605 reciver. I was looking to try and spend $100 or under per speaker and was looking at polks monitor 50's for most of the set up. Any thoughts or suggestions on what I should be looking at?

What you're looking at right now for $80 each can't be easily beat (except for the RTi 8 speakers in-store at Frys for cheap).

They were sold out at mine, and even if they weren't, they had them listed at about 300.xx... which wasn't on sale. That's just what the speaker dude told me.

Checked online and they were at the same price of $300. I would love to pick them up at $80.00 Did they recently run a sale on them and i missed out?

I would recommend that you take a look at the Klipsch Synergy series for your speakers. Most electronics stores are getting rid of last years inventories. I would say if you are in a hurry to purchase keep looking and researching online deals. I noticed that if you go directly to the Sony, Klipsch, etc you can click on there hot deals tab and see what they are selling for lower prices, usually around 30-50% off regular prices; just remember all the best equipment in the world will serve no purpose without excellent speakers to transfer the sound. To me one of the most important purchases will be your speakers. Good luck!
