Seeking Computer Speaker Advice

My Klipsch Promedia 2.1 PC speakers recently died. A quick search shows this is a common problem for these great sounding speakers.

So I bought a Logitech Z-2300 system. The reviews were good and the price was right.

I'm disappointed with these because there is a hum coming from the satelites. The hum is consistant despite the voulume level. I tried different power outlets, different speaker locations, etc.. and still have the hum. I am probabaly going to return these.

My question, then, is does anyone have a PC speaker recommendation for the $80 to $130 price range. They nbeed to be quiet when not active. Thanks...
