Hi guyz is The House Bunny any good? Is this a cute movie?

Highdefdigest commented that the video quality is pretty darn good.

Did you like both the story and the PQ? Is it worth buying it?

Haven't seen it yet, but I imagine the bare behind of Anna Faris looks nice in 1080p.

I was not impressed...even with Anna's butt. There were some funny parts but not enough. It's Legally Blonde meets Revenge of the Nerds. It could have been alot better. I would never buy it.

i was quite surprised by this one. i'm going to pick it up once it hits the previously viewed rack. the eye candy throughout the movie is pretty solid and it's funny.

i hesitate to recommend it though, each person has their own preference, etc. i'm easily entertained by a movie like this.

the pq is a solid 4 i would say, i'm pretty sure anna faris had a body double for the "from behind" shots but i still <3 her!

boy did she work out, she was kinda hot in that movie, I just can't get over the goofy face, PQ was good, AQ is what it is for a comedy, Still good though. Besides this movie has Little Tom in it

Update:

Alrightie guys, I rented it and watched it.

I LIKE THIS. Not bad of story, great acting, pretty girls some naked shots which is a huge plus.... and even more importantly, great PQ.

The review of this movie at blu-ray.com didn't give great score on the PQ. I guess the the reviewer who watched the movie didn't have good TV setup haha lol..... try mine and it'll give you plenty of pop. The color tones are also pretty damn good.

So I went and bought it.

In all honesty after reading the review it seems as if Sir Terence has some sort of bias against the film which is perfectly fine. I think a 3.0 on the PQ is little harsh. Seems as if Liebman reviews most of the BD's on this site but I'd be curious to measure this review to some of Terence's past reviews to see if there's any consistency.

i havent seen it on blu ray yet but i really didnt care for seeing this but i figured id give it a shot and ended liking it a lot more then i thought i would but i dont want to play $27 for it if was $20 or so then it might be more worth it.

Yea.. 3 stars a bit too harsh. highdefdigest gave it 4 stars on the video quality which is about right.

Since I had some extra cash to burn $30 wasn't a prob for me... but $20 would've been fab....

I enjoyed the film and found it quite entertaining...but the thing to remember is that it's a Happy Gilmore produced film. For those wanting political correctness or see something serious, then these are the type of films you're not going to want to watch.

Anna Faris did a wonderful job in the film and the fact that she worked out hard, had to do a nude scene (despite not really wanting to), produced and was the main star...was actually impressed by her commitment and she looks absolutely fabulous.

So, may it be Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Chris Rock or Anna Faris films, it's totally up to the viewer if they can have an open mind towards watching them.

Yeah Rent first for sure. I thought the PQ was at least a 4 as well and not a 3.Anna is hilarious and for that reason alone its worth watching. I would not pay 30 or 20 for this one thou. Once it hits 15 I'd think about picking it up. As someone else said GOOD EYE CANDY.
