I'm looking forward to this one. I like the Mad Max series. Best car chases on film IMO.

Too bad the transfer to BD will be identical to HD-DVD.

I ordered mine directly from the WB store and it arrived Wednesday. Watched it last night, and did not realize until I was watching that I'd never actually seen it before. I was thinking of the Mad Max movie with Tina Turner. Anyway, it was a very fun, action filled movie and I thought that the transfer was pretty nice considering what they were probably working with. Now I just hope they do the 1st movie, and also the one with Tina Turner which I guess was the 3rd in the series???

I hope the bring ''mad max'' as well. ''road warrior'' is more popular but I love the 1st one as well. it sets RW up. beyong thunderdome I could do without. that was just a weird movie. although maybe a good analogy for the format war. ''two formats enter, one format leaves.''

Mine shipped on Monday (from my Warner order) and should arrive this coming Monday, according to the UPS tracking number.

I too have only ever seen Beyond Thunderdome, and look forward to this one very much.
