Has anyone used oldsoundequipment repair service? - Blu-ray Forum

Hello, I sent my Marantz 3650 preamp for repair to oldsoundequipment.com and was wondering if anybody else has had any equipment repairs done with them. The guy no longer answers his telephone and I fear that my preamp may not be returned. Any suggestions?

never heard of them..... but how long ago did you send it? How long has it been since you've had contact with him?

He might be on vacation

I've never used or heard of them, but if you're in the mood to send any more A/V equipment out...think of me!

Good luck on your preamp hunt though.

The guy actually answered his phone today and hopefully will be finished with the repair soon. He said that a tree fell on his house and he moved out for awhile. Now I feel bad for posting but maybe that is why he finally answered. By the way, I had been trying to contact him for over 3 months with no reply

After looking at your equipment and guessing which one you sent away, I can see why you'd be anxious. Good luck on getting it back!
