Default 111FD and PS3

I asked this on AVS but didn't get an answer. I don't know if the thread was moving too fast or no one knows but I figure I'll ask here as well.

When I'm on the menus of the PS3, I get this shaking effect. The text, the icons, everything. It looks as though the entire screen shakes at random intervals. It's very noticeable. It even happens in-game, at least for PSN titles, Soldner-X for example.

At first I thought it was the Orbiter. So I turned that off. No change. I then turned off all the Noise Filters and Pure Cinema. Nothing. This is all in Game mode and Bit By Bit.

It only happens at 1080p resolution. If I change it to 1080i or 720p, the shaking is gone.

When I play a movie, it seems to play at 1080p. No problem.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem? Or at least why I can't have 1080p on the menus/PSN titles? I can't believe I'm the only one who has this issue.
