Default Question about the KLIPSCH brand

Are they any good ? I was looking to one of the only reseller of electronic equipement in my area and I see they almost just sell this brand as speaker for home theater
So I'm still debating if I order a complete system of Polk on the net or go look at this reseller for the KLIPSCH system (price are in canadian dollar)

Front and surround : KLIPSCH RB10 (344$ a pair)
Center : KLIPSCH RC10 (278$)
Sub : KLIPSCH RPW10 (398$)

Or online, the Polk :

Front : TSi200 (in sales at 298$ a pair but worth 379$)
Surround : TSi100 (219$ a pair, but they we're on sales last week at 198$ so I can wait to have them on sale again)
Center : CS10 (220$)
Sub : PSW110 (359$)

I know the Polk are less expensive but it will be less trouble to get the system from a reseller here if ever it have problem

So which system seems to be the better? I have try to look on the forum for any info on the klipsch but I found nothing on those specific model.

you will need to go and listen to the two different brands because believe me polks and klipsch sound completely different from each other.

Yes I know that, but there's no place that sell Polk in my area, and I know nobody that have them
SO i wanted the advice of some people that can I try both and be able to tell me the difference

I know that so far from the review I have read and what I have seen on some other forum, it seems the klipsch will probably be my choice

Aren't you in Canada? Paradigm should be readily available for you to audition, I would look into some of those as well.

I would listen to all three, and even others, only then will you be able to tell what you like.

Also, Energy speakers should be easy to find in Canada too. And if you get the C series speakers you can find great deals on them at the moment.

But whatever you do, try to listen before you purchase.

Finally I wasn't able to listen to anything at my local reseller... only thing they had setup was a set of Bose AM10 IV BK, the sound was ok, but... I know I want something better
The guy even say it will be better than the Klipsch that I have see on the website of that reseller, which I don't really believe.
And that now, watt is not a reliable measure anymore... is that true?

Anyway I go near ottawa this weekend, I will probably be able to find a reseller there and listen to some brand

Plus it cost 1188$

I think I will do what my mother almost always told me when I'm not sure of my decision : you need to follow your first tought, so I will probably go with the Polk system on visions.ca, they have a warranty of 5 years, and I see that a lot of people have that brand in their home theater, so it's probably not a bad brand

I actually think they are great for the price. The MSRP for Monitor 11's v6 are the same as the Klipsch RF-82's here in Canada and they are a pretty close match up. You can usually get the Monitor 11's much cheaper from your local dealer but like I mentioned above that is a good deal for us Canadians on the RF-82's.

Visions is also good for customer service I just recently sent my Polk CS2 center for repair and since they said it would take a bit long to get the replacement part they just gave me a Brand NEW CS20 yesterday - 11 months after my original purchase date... and that's without extended warranty purchased when I bought my system. I no longer need it anymore so I'm selling it to a buddy.. for a lot cheaper than store price since I got hooked up.
But that is excellent customer service!

Which store was this at? You should print out the measurements done on that exact system and ask him with such a frequency response how that system can possibly be better than one with a +/-3dB response from 35~20,000!!!!

You can get the measurements from here - http://www.intellexual.net/bose.html

Screw it, print out the whole article.
