Default DVD to Blu from WB

I signed up for the upgrade last Thursday, but I still haven't received any confirmation from WB that they got my order.

Has anybody else upgraded through the DVD to Blu program? And if so is this delay common?

Just a FYI: There's another thread on this forum about this.

I did the program once and never got any email from them other then the initial one with the shipping label. Took about 3 weeks and my BluRays just showed up. Even though they state on their site they will send a email with tracking number when they ship your Blurays. I never got one.

Then a week later they reduced all the prices to $4.95 from $7.95
I seem to always have that luck. Sort of like when I finally buy a bluray and they announce a SE edition the next day.

Hope that makes you feel better. I know when I'm waiting on BluRays the anticipation kills me!

I haven't received the first e-mail with the shipping instructions. How long did this take for you to get?

It came right away. I never got any more communications from them until the Blu Rays arrived in about four weeks. I guess you know that most of the stuff available for the exchange can be had cheaper or at the same price at Amazon, and you don't have to give up your DVD's. This program is a sucker's bet.

The shipping instructions email came right away for me as well...

I haven't gotten a confirmation that they have received them, I didn't really expect one for a while.

I have yet to see any of those Blurays at $4.95 on Amazon.

The ones that are $7 and 9 on the other hand.

Most of the Blurays listed are not the best titles so I really didn't mind sending them the DVD if I got a few bucks. Their basically worthless anyway as no one will buy them.

I think its a pretty great deal as it save me trying to sell the DVD's and then pay for the upgrade to Blu ray. $4.95 a Blu ray is pretty great.
