Default Amazon.com now listing Imports from Amazon.ca, de, and co.uk by 101 Distribution

Its been a couple of weeks now that Amazon is been shipping import Blurays, most recently, Erin Brockovich for $30, they have Ronin, but for $45. Is there any other place online selling imports, and for better prices?

I saw trainspotting on amazon for 53.99, I would love to pick it up but 53.99 is a bit much for me.

Wow, thanks for the info. I didn't actually know that. I wonder if it is more expensive or less expensive to order from the amazon for a specific country versus using amazon.com for the import. I guess I'm asking if you have actually compared that already?

I remember reading that xploit.com was closing down, still selling? Is axelmusic.com cheap and fast?

Never bought from them, I usually go with amazon, Bensonsworld, yesasia, or dddhouse.

They will close eventually. They're still selling, but they're not stocking any new product.

Scroll to the very bottom.
That list is pretty good but incomplete. I know off the top of my head that it is missing the Illusionist import Amazon sells and a couple of others.

I wish Amazon would sell the Japanese import of To Live and Die in LA. I can't find a retailer that sells it for under $40.

Default Amazon.com selling imports?

A couple times it's been mentioned in this forum for various other titles, so I'm trying to figure this out for sure. Is Amazon.com now offering imported BD titles? If so, does this mean that when you buy it from Amazon.com, they already have it imported and ready to ship like any other US title, or will it be shipped from the country the title originates from, or will Amazon.com be importing once the order is placed and then shipped to you?

For example, Kanye West: Late Orchestration is a UK release. It was never on Amazon.com until now, but still lists it as an Import in the Product Details section.

I picked up Taegukgi from amazon and it shipped with the rest of my order and had a little sticker on the plastic wrap that stated it was an import. So yeah it is ready to ship like any other title.

Any title stating 101 Distribution as distributor is an imported title. I am not sure whether they have them in stock/on hand however.

If they say they have them in stock then Amazon physically has the BDs at their U.S. warehouse already waiting to be shipped. They seem to be importing a few at a time.
