The 24/48kHz 5.1 DTS-HD MA soundmix on QoS is as crazed as a secret agent on crack.

Nice review...can't wait to get this one.

It was good but it was a little weak...I'll pick it up used from a member off of here eventually.

I'm also going to be among the many picking this up on release day. Nice to hear grain is retained instead of watching an animated wax museum. Too bad they are setting some of us up for a double dip with additional features down the line

I'll be curious if they make any cuts to these releases like they did with Casino Royale. Being in the US, we got shafted some of the fight scenes.

Glad to hear that the PQ and AQ are on par with Casino Royale. Saddened by the barebones special features. Will probably hold off until the 2 Disc Special Edition comes out so I don't have to double dip.

I enjoyed that quote in the review. I don't know if I'll get it or not, but glad to see the PQ and AQ are really good. I am still deciding whether I want to wait for the re-release or just forget about worrying about special features.

Wow, early review. Anyway, good to see that the picture and sound are good. Can't wait to check it out since I didn't see it at the theater.

felt more like a Bourne movie than a Bond flick. CR was much closer to the genuine article. I'll pick this up, but when its discounted under $20.

It was an OK movie but not as good as some of the earlier Bond movies. This is what happen when they move away from the proven Bond formula (girls, gadgets, guns, and a little irreverance).

Interesting review. I'm debating getting this on day one, particularly because I'm going to be travelling and blu-ray free for a few months shortly after it comes out, and also, I wouldn't mind a collector's edition similar to my CR one.

Having said that, I can't wait to do a CR/QoS back-to-back screening to see how the two of them stand together as a single story. CR was just over 2 hours long, QoS just under...
I think it could be interesting.

Region free or not??
I just pre-ordered it from amazon.de (EUR 17,97 only!) and am somewhat concerned.

I'll get this Day One but i'm suprised about the audio commentary. I saw this film twice in digital theaters and honestly I wasn't too impressed with the audio. We'll see if it makes a difference at home.

This movie should not be seen on it's own, but as an extra to Casino Royale.

They should have held off on Casino Royale SE, and release it with this film in the extras. That would have been a nice bonus to fans. It feels like a bunch of deleted scenes cobbled together.

Hopefully next time they release a real Bond movie, complete with a third act (this one stops right at the end of act two, a bit if Casino Royale had stopped after the card game ended).

I'm convinced it will be an amazing demo disc in both sound and PQ content thought.
