I need help. Descent compability question - Blu-ray Forum

I plan to buy sonys first blu-ray player and my first movie I want to buy is DESCENT. BUT!!!!! Ive heard it will only play in some Blu-ray players not all. has anyone bought this disc or had any problums playing it. I was told it only plays in PS3 thanks Robin L. Please let me hear from you Blu-ray supporters

A video store I buy from. aswell as a sony player review I read on AMAZON. COM.The guy said it didn,t work in SONYS first generation player however he did say he might have just gotten a bad disc

There should be no problems just make sure that if there are any firmware updates to get them. You could also check the froum using the search to see if anyone else here has had this problem.

follow guinness here ,check for firmware updates i did have an issue with the descent on my sammy bd-p1000 when i 1st got it but just needed to download an update from sammy`s website,the bd will work fine

My copy freezes for a second in the same spot. I am using a PS3. I haven't heard others with the problem but it is pretty annoying.
