Descent Problems help please. - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys,just picked up the descent.
I have firmware 1.61 and it just does NOT play,could anyone guide with this problem,thanks guys.

I have firmware 1.5, how did you get 1.61? Anyways, it takes a long time for The Descent to load, once that happens it plays without fault. I have the BDP-S1, and I don't like the Java.

The first problem we have to get past is your firmware revision. Your firmware revision is beyond the latest revision!

Yeah I have the BDP-S1 also,its just stuck on menu,no picture Im just letting it sit there

I have version 1.06 firmware.

Have to get firmware update from Sony-they give terrible service or download the firmware on a DVDR-info at Sony site.

The latest firmware seems to be 1.55. Check the BDP-S1 threads on the Blu-ray Players section for the latest info.
