Do you think this show and other shows of similar popularity will eventually see a blu-ray release?

I ask cuz it's on sale right now at BB for just 19.99.

I think Meester and Momsen are very pretty, the show itself is just unwatchable though. Tried it for about 5-6 episodes, have moved on.

I was never into Blake Lively until I saw her at the Dark Knight premier. I just have a thing for slinky black and great legs. Tv, Film and video do not do that girl justice.

I hope this does come out in blu. I liked the first season, although I haven't been watching the second. Not because it's not good, but because it's not available in HD.

I have mixed feelings. The girls are gorgeous and the acting is strong but sometimes the character and story is there and other times it's not.

I heard s2 is way better.

i've worked on the show and haven't heard any rumblings of a bluray release. then again it isn't really common talk on the set

next time i work on an episode i'll ask for you

please do. I hate watching anything on DVD if it can be avoided.

I'm a growing fan of the show. Not into it hardcore but when it's on I watch it. I think Gosspi Girl is not bad. It's really light entertainment and I sometimes I just watch it because the costumes are AMAZING!!!!!!!!

I would SERIOSULY LOVE to work on the show just so I can work in the wardrobe department. The clothing is looks OUTSTANDING with how the suits and dresses are designed, the choice of fabrics and use of colours.

Now that Sex and the City is done (on TV at least) a new owner of TV fashion has emerged in Gossip Girl.

amazon has season 1 on sale for $24. I'm waiting on the blu-ray. I haven't even seen one episode but the premise of gossip amongst a privileged class appeals to me. I also want to see the show Privileged on blu-ray. Here's another Rolling Stones photo that's not on the cover, but I assume is in the magazine

The show is a lot wittier/entertaining than people think when they hear of the plot alone. The show's pretty entertaining. I'm not sure this is a candidate for blu-ray release though as the primary audience is females, and most of them don't care too much about HD.

sorry i forgot to post, but no one on-set that i talked to has heard anything about a bluray release....doesn't mean it isn't happening though.
