Default Buying a new system
Hello,

Just looking for some "simple" advice. We are contemplating a new 46" LCD panel. The Toshiba and Samsung units look to be rated very well. Would like some thoughts. We are not avid tv or audiophiles. Just want to have decent quality viewing. Are Toshiba's new Regza units anything special?

Also, we shall have DirecTV from within our 10 story condo unit. So, shall get the DirecTV DV-R receiver. What about watching videos these days? Assumedly we should get the new Blu-Ray technology? What about a Blu-Ray unit to watch and record? Does that get connected to the monitor or the DV-R receiver? And will DirecTV be coming out with a Blu_ray receiver? Does it make any difference?

Thanks so much. Any answers really appreciated.
