Default When do prices come down .

Why is it that some titles go as low as 14.00 -19.00 such as batman begins ,shooter, black hawk down, which IMO are some kick a$$ movies but other titles I love never come below 26.00 like rush hour 3,live free or die hard, and even super bad, Iam I lokking in the right place?

I've bought about a dozen blu's from sellers on amazon without any problems so far. They typically ship faster than amazon does, at least in my experience.

Generally older titles come down in price quicker then new releases. Especially films that were on older formats which are then released on the new format.

Supply and demand have some bearing on the price as does the releasing studio.

I have about 2-3 dozen titles that I have in a wish list that I check every day for a lower amazon price. I agree with you and have my own price threshold ($15-18). There are many titles I am also waiting on a lower price for example I have NEVER seen Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium for less then $27

that seller has a 95 percent approval rating from just under 30,000 buyers. You should be getting what you pay for. I always check the seller's approval rating before buying.

Oh and I've been looking for a good price on Close Encounters and that is always expensive

If it turns out to be not as advertised, Amazon will make it right according to people who have shopped the marketplace a lot. My first experience is kind of so-so. I placed 5 different orders for blurays on Monday the 9th, and one of them has yet to arrive, and one other one took almost 2 weeks. The other 3 arrived within a week tho. Some of the individual sellers, even though they have high approval ratings and fast shipping speeds, are very slow in my first experience. Some of them don't even e-mail that they have shipped your order, and there is no way to track where the order is at. That being said, if you are patient, and trust Amazon will make things right for you if there is a problem I have not been able to find better prices.

Amazon doesn't always list the "top billed" actors as the starring actors. Look those names up on imdb, I guarantee they are listed as being in Rush Hour 3.

Amazon.co.uk. It's only £8.98 and is part of their 3 for 2 sale. And yes, it's region free. The only difference is that it comes in a different package and doesn't contain the booklet that is in the US version.

Pieceofmindmedia is a good seller man, I get tons of stuff through them (especially since they ship through amazon and I get to use prime )

ummm, yeah, like we have said before, Amazon doesn't always list the MAIN actors. That web page is the EXACT same listing that Amazon.com sells themselves brand new. It definitely stars those actors too, they just didn't list Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan in those two billing spots. Besides, as I said myself, Pieceofmindmedia are good sellers. I have had one issue in dozens of transactions with them and they corrected it within 20 minutes of me contacting them. Don't worry. best bet is to look at feedback ratings and go with trusted sellers with high ratings. Amazon has an A to Z guarantee on everything you buy through their sellers.

A lot of the times it has to do with the actual store. I found that Fry's prices are pretty comparable to Amazon.com prices, Wal-Mart and H-E-B Plus! are probably the cheapest, and Best Buy the most expensive. You probably won't see Best Buy drop their prices by much, unless it's a special event like Christmas, but it wouldn't be out of the question to see the other stores drop their prices on older titles at some point.

I don't believe free shipping applies to amazon marketplace transactions. I could be wrong though.
